How to mend panasonic MCE468?

To get at the switch area for lead renewal:
1. Remove screw at back and bottom of handle (recessed down in handle) and the handle will slide backwords off the main body. Note it is stiff and does not slide off easily.
The handle holds in place the clip action of the switch area cover.
2. Remove the 2 screws on the switch cover and using the finger lifting slot at the front lift the front of the cover so the cover hinges up and back which will release the plastic clip extension at the back (that clip is the bit covered by the handle so it will not release the cover with only the screws out and the handle in place).

How do you gain access to the handle to renew the
electric supply cable.

Thermal fuse is 10A 99C and is attached between the motor brush and the cable from the switch. It's located at the motor end so you don't need to get into the handle.
