Mend Dodge B1500 96 Van

96 Dodge van runs hot?

I have a 96 Dodge van B1500 5.2. Driving around town and in traffic it is fine but when I drive on the highway 60-70 mph it runs hot. It doesnt make sense to me it just seems backwards. Can you please help?
