How do you find an electrical short that is draining the battery on a 2003 ?

How do you find an electrical short that is draining the battery on a 2003 Dodge Caravan? Battery was dead and it was jumped. We drove it home, but there were intermittent popping sounds coming from the dash. Radio lights were flickering, the temperature gauge and the fuel gauge were both bouncing and the headlights were dimming. It was a scary ride home

Your best bet is to take an auto electrician. Could be lots of different things, Sounds like a short wires rubbing on metalwork under the dash. Extreme likelihood of a fire. Play safe get a professional to look at it.
