using 2 aerial at the same time?

I have 2 digital aerial 1 pointing to Waltham transmitter and 1 pointing to sandy , which works for the analogue programs but I only pick up freeview from Waltham. The waltham transmitter is 42 mile away and snady is 52 miles away. If I only used the sandy aerial , would i then get freeview. Sandy is my favoured transmitter
