Mend Jonsered GR50 Engine Revs Straight

2 stroke engine will only run on choke?

I have a Jonsered GR50 brushcutter/strimmer which will only run on choke. As soon as I give it revs the choke automatically disengages & the engine stops straight away. I have taken the muffler off & it was well choked up with coke but after cleaning it's still doing it. tried another carb & still the same.

Any help much appreciated.

Change the spark plug RCJ7Y and make a basic carburetor adjusment H = 1-1 1/4 open and
L = 1-1 1/4 open then adjust LA (idle).

try cleaning the fuel filter, if that doesn't help then maybe the fuel line is collapsing. check for a kink in the fuel line.
