Mend Briggs & Stratton Lawn Mower And Cutting Out

my engines revs up and then idles before cutting out?

briggs and stratton engine revs up and the idles for a few minutes then cuts out.will start again straight away with same outcome.. its only 1 year old,and this is the first use this season.. ran and cut perfectly last year and for about 2 hours before this problem. any ideas ... will
