Carrier Ideal Day 10 Dehumidifyer inop. Fans work ok but A.C. Inop?

Hi, I have a Carrier Ideal Day 10 mobile Air Conditioning unit *early 18 style with turn knob rather than digital type* Fan blower works on slow and fast but not dehumidifying.
Any known common problems, i.e. loss of gas, compressor, switch etc
Many thanks in advance for any help
