Mend Briggs & Stratton Engine Mower Mowing

Engine problems?

I have a rotary mower with a Briggs & Statton engine. When mowing the engine speed goes up and down on its own. Years ago one simply adjusted the mixture screw, but the modern carburetter is not fitted with one. Anyone with any ideas ??

If it's a carb-on-the-tank engine, replace the diaphragm.
