do i need to refill coolant in peugot 405 K reg?

When i start the engine of my Peugot 405 K reg, the coolant light comes on for about a minute and then goes off again. Can you tell me where the coolant goes in this model and the best type to buy. Also the window washer has stopped working, is this likely to be a fuse that has gone? Many thanks!
