Mend Hotpoint Machine Door Lock Flashing

Hotpoint washing machine door wont lock, light keeps flashing1?

Close my Hotpoint washing machine door and the light keeps flashing, it feels a bit lose, maybe need to change the lock it self?????

this seems to be a common WMA fault on machines 3 years or older. Your PCB behind the control panel has gone 'poof' because of a short caused by either the motor or element, more likely motor.

Dont buy another PCB, it will go poof aswell
