My lg kp500 cookie will not operate in any way?

My LG kp500 cookie will not operate in any way after I turn it on , all I see on the lcd screen the lg logo , thats it ! nothing else !. It won't even turn off unless I take the battery out. will appreciate any help given.

If it's still under warranty take it back to the shop so they can arrange a software upgrade.
