Pfaff 1471, slow presser foot?

I sprayed with W-D 40, it is just the same, very slow!
You actually have to help it down.

Got everything else oiled, stitches look great, the new batteries restored it's memory....thank you thank you.

Helo Lillian,
The presser bar is the tightest part on the machine and to get the WD40 to work its's way down is a bit of a pain but if you keep physically moving the bar up and down it will free off.
