Mend Casio EX-V7 Not Power Up

My Casio EX-V7 will not power up?

My Casio EX-V7 will not power up with either the lense cover or the play button. However, when I push and hold the play and menu buttons simutaneously the screen powers up and displays "ver 1.01" for a few seconds or until another button is pressed.
