Mend Casio Exilim Z57 Stuck Zoom Open

Casio Exilim Z57 Power Issue?

My Exilim Z57 is stuck with the zoom lense open and won't power up. When hitting the power button the green light flashes and I get a beep, but the lense doesn't retract. I took out the battery and nothing changed.
