laptop got wet?Dell Inspiron 6400?

I had a house party and a friend knocked beer on my laptop. I left it upside down removed the battery to dry for a few days. I then removed the keyboard and dried inside it with a cool hair drier. The power comes on now but it doesn't come up on the screen. not only that but on the left side near the speaker grille smells like burning. i dont know what it wrong with it could you tell me and is it fixible?
