Mend Hoover 1200 Special Edition Washing Machine Appliance Repair

hoover 1200 washing machine cutting out?

my hoover 1200 special edition washing machine, which is approx 4 years old keeps cutting out whe on fast spin cycle and there is a horrible weird smell, why is this and how do i fix it?

Debbie, it could be the brushes of the motor or it could be the motor. Without actually smelling the smell I cannot comment. Call out a local engineer if you have no electrical experience, it shouldn't cost to much if it is the brushes.
