Mend logmp31001 Work Model Turn

it just wont work,how do i make it work?

since the day i got my logmp31001 it is been like hell.the model has refused to even turn on and any time i insert it into my usb slot it shows up for some few minutes and off it goes and the pc will not even recogniose its existence.how do i solve this problem cos i am really in luv with this mpeg3. thanx
