"what was not working with the timer.when you selected a time did it work and go back to zero? or did it not return to zero?
If you set a time on the timer and the drum started up but didn't end then yes a new timer might solve the issue.Make sure you get the right one as there are 2 types on this model 120 min and 140 min timers if I remember correctly

when you selected a time the drum wouldnt move.the timer knob could just turn a full circle,
