Mend Pentax P30 Stuck Pressed Button

why has the mirror stuck up on my Pentax P30?

When I loaded new batteries, I pressed the shutter button, and the mirror got stuck up. Now I can't do anything - can't press the shutter or wind on. I've tried taking out the batteries and replacing them.
