Took my power washer out of the box (stored in garage) since last autumn to use it for only the second time and the nozzlle split immediately.
Cannot find spares anywhere.
Can anyone help?
I have same problem. More water comes out the side of the gun than the end of the nozzle. A total load of shite!

Everything I buy from Argos is rubbish.
A £400.00 TV which only they produce and sell can see only half the screen - they won't replace.
This power washer: the same problem as everyone else.
Thank goodness Argos don't sell cars.

i have just borrowed my friends challange extreme DW1840BV, after half an hour water began spurting out. A crack has appeared around the nozzle seal, took it to halfords to see if they could match up the part (they couldnt) and found online that it is a common fault! Great, not !!

Exact same issue. Argos will not help as I no longer have the receipt, even though there is a clear manufacturing fault.
Next step is going to the store to complain and see if I can get an exchange.

I have the same problem, the plastic between the gun and nossles as split cant see where the crack is, but when i turn it on the water spurts out of the side i need to no where i can get this thing fixed or replaced , i think you have to bye the gun as the plastic dont come off. but have no idea where from.

I have today attempted to buy the replacement lance and hose from Argos today, only to be told it has been removed from sale due to some problem.
Yes we all know what the problem is - the lance splits, forcing water out the side at pressure, which could be dangerous! What are the manufacturers doing about it?

You can buy the Challenge Extreme Kit from Argos, which contains the gun, 6m hose and the lance at a cost of £19.59.
Fits Challenge 1500w and the Extreme 1800 and 2000w models.

I have a similar problem, the pressure hose got a kink in it and has split. Does anybody know where to buy a new hose?

I have same problem, I think that the lance had water in it and it froze and split, the best I have found so far is a new lance on Ebay, it says screw fitting but there is no size or close up photo.
