Mend Eureka The Boss Problem Suction Hose

I have two Eureka- The Boss Vacuums that are not sucking up the dirt throug?

I have two Eureka, The Boss Vacuum's with the same problem, not enough suction to suck the dirt up through the hose to the bag. Does the hose need to be replaced? How can this be fixed?

I have the same problem with my Eureka Boss vacuum...my mother suggested taking a look at the hose and making sure nothing is partially blocking it, and that it is fitted on properly. I'll let you know if it works!
