Old Hoover Ecologic 1300 not spinning fast enough?
My old hoover machine is not spinning except it is spinning but only slowly. It should have 2 faster spin speeds than what it has.
I wondered if it may be the motor brushes wearing or a water level sensor. Does it have one? Its a Hoover Ecologic Autowasher 1300. It was also making a hell of a noise and walking about the kitchen for sometime before this fault.

could be the counterweight fixing bolts have loosened, the drum spider has worked loose ( on inner drum) or a suspension spring fault .alternatively it may be a motor control fault. if carbon brushes at fault, unlikely motor would turn at all. balance spin control switch may be cutting out motor when machine speeds up if there is a drum/ suspension fault
