Mend Hoover TV630 Dryer Filter Heater

Hoover TV630 Tumble Drier?

Having same problem - working fine but blowing cold air - filter light on. One suggestion was to buy a modified unit to fit under the silver cover at the back of the dryer and another was a new heater/cutout assembly part no. 04820062.

Are these the same thing and how easy are they to get hold of? Do I have to go through Hoover or can I purchase from other outlet?

Finally got the part from Hoover, Sheffield and it cost £30 and took less than 5 mins to fit.

It appears that it is the element at the back of the machine - part no. 04820062. Found web page selling part for £50.17 with 3-4 days delivery.

Don't have an answer but do have the same problem! On my machine the filter light never came on even when the filter was full, it obviously doesn't kick in until it is too late. It is on now - when it no longer works, not much help really. Either I am just unlucky or it is a design fault.
