Why will my machine not spin?

1)drain filter blocked,
2) pump blocked/seized. machine MUST have got rid of the water BEFORE attempting to spin
Drain off the excess water by lowering hose into a bowl water will flow by gravity be prepared to empty the bowl when the water stops attempt a spin cycle may work, may not. Now locate the drain filter and clean out (may be hidden inside the sump hose) .Then strip and inspect the drain pump, checking for obstructions, hairs round the impeller etc .
(Note) even after cleaning a new pump maybe required to cure problem
