Mend Hot Water 3 Way Valve Heating System

no hot water after replacing 3 way valve?

We have just replaced the 3 way valve on our central heating system, but have no hot water. When timer comes on we just get central heating even though thermostat is turned down.
Please can anyone advise - many thanks

valve wrong way round or wired wrong

If you have an immersion heater in your tank...

Otherwise the new valve is in the wrong position I guess...
