Mend Light Fitting Replace

light fitting?

have just bought light fitting to replace other one in ceiling the trouble is there is earth cable in light fitting but not in ceiling fitting can you help

D.I.Y, Lighting Light Fitting Replace

There are a couple of ways to ground the new fixture. One way would be to attach ground to a screw inside the junction box. Another would be to attach the gem bar that should of come with your fixture to the junction box. Then attach the fixtures ground to the ground screw on the gem bar.
