How can I fix my electric Flymo Lawn Mower?

Hi There, unsure of the model but I am getting no power at all on my small electric Flymo Lawn Mower. I have done the obvious like cleaned it up and checked the fuse. A look at the motor reveals no obvious problems, it's been locked away for a year and was working fine, but now it's just dead... Any ideas? Thank you.

Have a look at the handlebar switch - the lever mechanism that operates it may not be depressing the switch far enough for it to work.
