Moved into a new house and a mower was left by the previous occupants. It's a Performance Power 420 with a petrol engine, unfortunately I can't find the model of the engine anywhere on it.
Whilst taking the engine apart to rebuild it, I got stumped trying to remove the flywheel. Was wondering if there might be some kind of trick to it?
One trick of the trade - which works perfectly well if you don't overdo it - is to prise the flywheel upwards with a couple of screwdrivers, then whack the undone nut with a hammer to jolt the flywheel free. There are however purpose made pullers that are a litle more gentle!
