Unlocking Keyless chuck on Bosch drill?

I have Brute 18V cordless 35614 drill that I can't get the chuck to rotate so I can change the bits/drill. Even looked in the instruction book: move reverse switch to center off, rotate clutch ring to drill bit symbol, rotate chuck sleeve counterclockwise. But the spindles don't budge. Can anybody help, or do I have to mail the silly thing to a center. I am usually able to figure these things out....
