Mend Bosch PSB 18 VE-2 Problem

Bosch PSB 18 VE-2. chuck bolt problem. ?

Hi, I have a Bosch PSB 18 VE-2 cordless drill. (Green one) The philips head screw/bolt from deep inside the drill chuck had become unscrewed and fallen out onto my bench...not lost!!!. I have tried to screw it back but it does not appear to bite on a thread...What should I do? Thanks. Cheers. Kevin.
