Mend Bosch 18v cordless drill Drill Cordless

drill problem?

Hi I have a bosch 18v cordless drill and on widening the chuck to place in a drill bit, 1 of the 3 prongs (dont know technical term) has remained proud and despite closing and opening repeatedly i cannot align the 3 prongs. grateful for your advice.

hi stuart, you may have to replace the chuck to remove the old chuck inside it you will see a screw this has a left hand thread,remove the screw & then look at the neck their should be two flat's for a thin spanner once you have found one small enough to fit put spanner on & jerk it quickly to the left & unscrew
