Mend Leisure Equipment High Going Fast

How can I change the gearing on my bike?

The gearing is too high - my legs are going round too fast even in 21st gear. It looks like I should change the three front chain sprockets for bigger ones ? Is it straightforward or should I take it to a bike shop ?
