I had the same problem on my D2 last year it drove me mad, I stripped it down twice and thought I had it sussed with wet sidestand switch but it happend again after I'd replaced it. Gave up and took it to Ural moto in Kent they traced prob to broken wire under tank and not missed a beat since.

I had a similar problem with my ZZR600 a few years back it was the solenoids under the tank attached to the frame, wouldn't charge so was flatting the battery.
