if the carb float is badly adjusted or the float needle is stuck open due to debris in the fuel this will cause flooding. drop the bowl on suspect carb [ may have to remove carbs] check for anything obvious. if nothing found remove carbs take off float remove float needle and housing give it a clean and check its not worn.check the the adjustment tang on the float for were.adjust float as manual advises. hope this helps.have been there.
