Mend Lawnmower Petrol Starts

Victa MCA471A lawnmower running problem?

It starts ok after manualy priming the petrol through using the rubber push just under the carb. After a few turns the engine stops. Anybody any ideas.

Had a go and even striped the carb now wont start at all. Could it be that its not priming ?

hi it sounds as if the main jet in the carb is blocked.try a squirt of carb cleaner,if that fails you will have to strip it down and check and clean the jets.
