Mend Renault Clio Engine Fault Petrol

how do i stop the orange coil light coming on in my clio?

when i come to a stop in my 51 plate clio, the orange coil light comes on an the revs die, the only way to get rid of the light is to rev the engine hard. its a petrol, not diesel engine. any ideas

if you google 'stalling clio' it seems to be a bit of a common problem that nobody knows the answer to. my daughters 51 plate did the same ,but only when it was freezing cold weather & bad snow ! now it seems to have cured itself ! good luck.
