Mend Simpson 750 Washing Machine Agitator Motor

simpson esprit 750 not agitating?

it fills with water and you can hear the motor ticking away then it moves on to the next stage, then goes
through all the next stages okay until its time ti spin again and just the motor clicking away.the agitator moves fine by hand just not when doing a load

And not shutting the water inlet off,causing flooding? The sensors that the inlet hoses connect to have probably gone kaput,causing these problems. Replacement is no huge deal,and shouldn't cost much.
