my pfaff 145 works except it won't sew?

I can't get it to sew. the threads won't go threw the fabric. What am I doing wrong?

If you mean it won't pick up the thread to make a stitch it may need retiming, if the needle is not going down it could be a few things, if you can email me below with more information I will be able to help you.
