Extended delay on commencement of washing cycle?

I have a PHILLIPS top loading automatic washing machine. There has always been a safety delay at the commencement of the washing cycle of around five minutes.
Recently this has extended to around thirty minutes. Does any one know how to strip down a T850 SLIMSTAR aka AWG 090 PH 01 ?
