Mend AEG Lavatherm 330 Tumble Dryer Start

AEG Lavatherm 330?

The tumble dryer emits a graunching, grinding sound on start up which can be stopped by stopping the machine and restaring it. The programmer sometimes moves and sometimes doesn't. Anybody had this problem and if so what is the solution? I tend to think that it is the programmer.

not easy to help you on this fault.could be faulty timer/tensioner or broken fan but you need to strip it down and check parts to see what is happening really
