Mend AEG Lavatherm 620 Tumble Dryer Thermal Cut-out Reset

thermal cut-out activates when drying cycle has finished. aeg lavatherm 620?

I have fixed a new, manual reset, thermal cut-out, as the previous one was giving problems (as I thought), and it seems to cut out when the drying process has finished so the next time it is used it uses cold air. Is there a heater cut-out that activates a while before the drum stops so the hot air is all dischaged? If so, what control should I replace or if not, what can you suggest is the problem.
