Mend Rover 45 Remote Locking Locks

Remote Locking Rover 45?

My Rover remote locking device locks my car but the only indication is a click---When unlocking with remote the hazards flash once, and its open---I thought there should be much more indication IE hazards flshing and an audiobeeping ?? Please advise if poss
