how can i fix faulty remote locking on my 2004 ford fusion?
hi, having a problem with the remote locking on drivers door it locks ok but wont unlock all other doors no problem seems to have started when i tried to lock door with engine running any ideas
i,ve checked it out & definately looks like the lock i,ll change that sometime when its warmer, thanks for advice

i would suspect the latch is at falt as it is still comanding the other locks to function,thanks for reply..

sorry steve should have used puctuation marks.drivers door does not unlock with remote,all other doors do,all doors inc drivers lock with remote & all doors work with key

if it locks and unlocks on that door with key ok,and if you lock the car then unlock with the remote if it locks up again on own..its definatly the door latch thats packed up,,new one needed,,if not it could be wiring in the door shut broken.lock and unlock that door with key if other doors not respond then wiring falt,,
