Mend Renault Kangoo Immobiliser

disconnect immobiliser on renault kangoo van?

my plip key isnt working and need my van working asap! renault quoted 250quid and about a 10 day wait 4 new key, really cnt afford that at the mo! is there any way around this? take fuse out maybe? please help thanks, gary

try holding the remote control locking button as you turn the key in the ignition

On a standard kangoo system the immobiliser is not linked to the remote locking, there is a transpoder inside the body of the key.

If you open the van manualy with the key the van should still start when you turn the ignition.
