AEG Favorit 60820 Dishwasher Power Switch?

How difficult or expensive is it to replace the on/off switch on an AEG Favorit 60820 dishwasher? The switch has an intermittent fault - if left on the dishwasher will go through its programs without a problem. However if the machine is switched off or if there is an external power outage, it is only luck and a lot of pressing of the dishwasher's on/off switch to get the power back on its board again. I am rather hoping that the On/Off switch is separate to the electronic board (ie not integrated) and is cheap and easy to replace.

It has two numbers on it:

F60820W

PNC911232 584 01

It is interesting that it continues to work if left on, but I am reluctant to turn it off in case it is a circuit board problem and I cannot start it again. Where I am, boards have to be ordered from Germany.

Hope it is a separate switch. ;-)

some are part of the circuit boards but i dont know this model number so can't 100% answer.i have had some with faulty switches and generally they have been part of the pcb.lets hope not in your case.remove the screws from around fascia and have a look.unplug from the mains first.
