If you have the clam type foot control which I think you have, peel off the rubber bottom on the control, there is a screw in the middle, undo the screw, it will probably be very very tight and you may break the plastic surround a little bit but you can glue it back together, it is a common fault, open the foot control, there are only two wires to connect, if you are going to change the control because the machine runs on without pressing on the control all you need to do is take out the suppressor which is the silver thing that looks like a fuse and the machine will work perfectly, you don't need it these days, any problems email me below.
