how can I fix sewing machine Kenmore 385.16231.300?

I now have the picture of your model, just need to know what kind of stop motion you have.

Good day to you,
Put the drop feed switch in the up position and turn the balance wheel and the teeth should come up, as far as the machine not disengaging this is a minor stop motion problem which you can do yourself, your model number does not show up unfortunately so I am not absolutely sure if you have a pull out clutch stop motion or if you have a stop motion wheel inside the balance wheel or a push stop motion, if you can let me know I will help you, even better if you could e-mail a picture of the balance wheel and model, e-mail below.
