Mend Land Rover P38 Remote Working Year

key remotes?

i have a range rover p38 and one of the remote controls has not been working for a year, went to my dealer and he wants £138.00 for a new one including key and tuning in. is this the only way.

am quite sure u can just get the remote just reprogramed in to the motor using the computer would keep the cost down.
