pipe to hot water cylinder is roasting hot, but no hot water?
the boiler is on and the pipes hot, going to the boiler, but the pipe coming out of the boiler on the return journey is cool or luke warm, the water in the taps ends up only warm and only hot enough for one shower, this has only happened in the last week.
Check your expansion tank in the loft (the small one) you may find that it is empty and the ballvalve is stuck closed, If it is give it a tap and it should drop and fill the tank. If it works consider changing the washer in the ballvalve or the next thing will be the overflow going.
