My washing machine will not empty. Does it have a blockage or is it the pro?

first check for a blocked drain filter, then a drain pump blocked/seized
filter located inside the large hose that is attached to the bottom of the drum.
Manually drain the excess water out by putting the drain hose into a bowl and lowering down onto the floor (gravity action) if it comes out in a dribble filter probably blocked if it comes out quick suspect the pump, strip clean and test operation a new one may be required
